 List of Celebrities Performing at VIVO IPL 2016 Opening Ceremony: Cricket fans all over the world has been waiting for this one heck of a tournament. Yes, I'm talking about none other Indian Premier League a.k.a IPL. As per the IPL 2016 schedule, the mega cricketing event is about to begin from April 9. A total of 51 days would determine who's the strongest and who's the weakest. Today in here I'm with a list of celebrities which are expected to be performing at VIVO IPL 2016 opening ceremony.

Some of the popular Indian news channels has confirmed the presence of following celebrities. The popular celebrities who are expected to perform at the opening ceremony are Jacqueline Fernandez, Sunny Leone, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Ranveer Singh. As per the source, about 200+ dancers, cast performers, folk artists and percussionists will be there for adding color and glam to the mega opening ceremony.

In this first match of IPL 2016, defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on Rising Pune Super giants. The match is considered to be a cash - rich one.

Kings XI Punjab's Indian cricketers will begin their training camp here on Sunday, ahead of the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) starting on April 9.

Mohit Sharma, Akshar Patel, Wriddhiman Saha and Murali Vijay will join the camp on the opening day, it was announced on Saturday.

Gurkeerat Mann, Sandeep Sharma, Manan Vohra, K.C. Cariappa, Anureet Singh, Shardul Thakur, Armaan Jaffer, Pardeep Sahu, Rishi Dhawan, Nikhil Naik and Swapnil Singh will also join the camp.

Head coach Sanjay Bangar, bowling coach Joe Dawes and fielding coach R. Sridhar and other members of the support staff will be present at the Punjan Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium.

"We are really excited to begin the cricket camp for IPL 9. We have a well-balanced team, with a good mix of experience and youth and the entire coaching staff is looking forward to working with the team," Bangar said in a release.

"During the camp, we will be focusing on building team synergy and identifying areas that need minor tweaks before the tournament begins. The retention of Virender Sehwag as mentor will be very beneficial for us as well."

KXIP finished at the bottom of the 2015 IPL and this time, they will seek improvement under new captain, South African David Miller.
